Professionals’ Symposium

A gathering of professionals dedicated to supporting gender diverse youth and their families

July 16 - 17 2020

Day 1: 8:45am - 2:30pm (PDT)        Day 2: 8:45 am - 1:40pm (PDT)

Opening Keynote Address

Joshua Obawole Allen's keynote address will serve to set the stage for the next two days. They will challenge all of us as professionals' seeking to better understand, support and celebrate gender diverse youth to truly see young people fully and authentically. With their words, energy and joy echoing in our ears, our learning journey will   begin. Enjoy!

Closing Keynote Address

We'll close hearing from Kris Hayashi, Executive Director of the Transgender Law Center. With his experience as a leader for racial, economic, and legal justice, he'll frame our work against the turbulent times we find ourselves in. Kris will help us zoom back     out to create a sense of context as we apply our newfound knowledge moving forward.
