A gathering of professionals dedicated to supporting gender diverse youth and their families
Day 1: 8:45am - 2:30pm (PDT) Day 2: 8:45 am - 1:40pm (PDT)
Racial & Gender Justice that Centers Black Lives
Joshua Obawole Allen's keynote address will help to set the stage for the next two days. They'll push each one of us as professionals seeking to better support understand, and celebrate gender diverse youth to truly see young people authentically. With their words, energy and power echoing in our hearts, our journey of learning as a community will begin. Enjoy!
The Context for Moving Forward
We'll close the gathering hearing from Kris Hayashi, Executive Director of the Transgender Law Center. With his experience as a leader for legal, racial and economic justice, Kris will seek to frame our work against these troubled times we find ourselves in. Kris will help us zoom out to gain a sense of context as we apply our newfound knowledge moving forward.
